What is the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)?
The Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person and has now reached South Florida.
There is currently to vaccine or treatment so we must take the proper steps to avoid contacting and spreading the disease.
What are the symptoms of COVID-19?
If you have the following symptoms and have been in close contact with a person known to have the virus or if you
or someone you know has recently traveled from an infected area, we ask that you please give us a call before coming to our office so that we can give you the proper care and avoid the potential spreading of the virus:
Fever, Cough, Shortness of Breath, Chills, Muscle Pain, Sore Throat, New Loss of Taste, or Smell
What should we do?
We must take the proper precautions to minimize the community spread of the disease.
For your safety, please ensure to follow all the steps listed below at all times:
Avoid close contact with people who are sick
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
Stay home when you are sick
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue away
Constantly clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
Wear a facemask when coming in contact with others
Practice social distancing and maintain a 6 feet distance from others
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds multiple times a day
Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
All non-essential travel to be avoided and postponed
Maintain a healthy immune system
Avoid touching people while greeting. Ex: no handshaking, cheek kisses, etc.
Avoid large crowds or enclosed areas by practicing social isolation. Ex: movie theaters, concerts, festivals, etc.

If you or someone you know traveled to the countries listed above, self-quarantine for 14 days. If symptoms arise during that time or after, please give us a call before coming to our office so that we can give you the proper care and avoid the potential spreading of the virus.

PLEASE NOTE: For the safety of our staff and patients, we are taking the proper precautions. Upon arrival everyone must be screened in order to enter the facility. Visits are by appointment only, and the patient must not bring a guest, unless the patient is a minor. If you arrive early, please wait in your car until your appointment time. Facemask must be on at all times while in the building. Keep in mind the tape found around the office to maintain 6 feet from others.
